Aloe vera is a lifesaver for skin and hair in winter, know how to use it

New Delhi, December 4 (IANS). Aloe vera looks like a simple plant, but it is used for everything from fever to beautifying skin and hair.

Aloe vera has been used for centuries to enhance beauty, but in winter, both skin and hair are affected by the cold wind. In such a situation, aloe vera is very beneficial for hair and skin in a natural way.

In Ayurveda, Aloe Vera has been called Kumarika, that is, the plant which nourishes not only beauty but also life. Aloe vera soothes bile and blood defects and has a cooling effect. With its use, the skin feels soothed, the cells are awakened, and the hair is nourished from the root.

Aloe vera is also beneficial in women’s health. Its consumption also provides relief from diseases related to menstruation. Aloe vera contains vitamins A, C, and E, minerals including B-12, amino acids, enzymes, sugars, lignin and salicylic acid, which provide many benefits to the body.

If there are pimples, acne, sunburn or blemishes on the skin, then apply aloe vera in the morning after cleansing the face. Then massage the skin with aloe vera gel in the afternoon and repeat again at night. By doing this, no dirt will accumulate on the skin, the face will be clean from inside, wrinkles will reduce, blemishes will reduce and the skin cells will get complete nutrition.

The thing to note is that use fresh aloe vera. Before using, wash aloe vera thoroughly in water and only then apply it. Sometimes the yellow water coming out of aloe vera causes itching on the skin.

If there is dandruff, hair fall, dryness in hair, or weak hair roots, then mix aloe vera in coconut oil and massage the head and leave it for half an hour. After washing, make a paste by mixing amla powder with aloe vera gel and apply it on the hair. This will strengthen the hair and reduce hair related problems. Do these remedies twice a week and also include Amla in your diet; It is beneficial for both skin and hair.
