New Delhi, April 28 (IANS). Stress and physical fatigue are a common problem in today’s busy life. In such a situation, health remains good by taking yoga and balanced diet. Among these, ‘Bhadrasana’ is one of the effective solutions for modern lifestyle.

This yoga is the most important yoga asana for beginners, practicing it for 5-10 minutes brings positive energy into a calm mind and life. Bhadrasana Yoga is also called ‘Gracious Pose’ in English.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, Bhadrasana is an extremely beneficial and stable yoga asana, whose regular practice increases concentration. While doing this, the posture of the body is such that the spine remains straight and the lower part gets stretched, due to which the body gets prepared for pranayama and deep meditation.

This asana is considered beneficial for women. Yoga experts believe that its regular practice can help in providing relief from menstrual pain and discomfort. Also, during pregnancy, under the supervision of experts, it can be beneficial.

It is very easy to practice this asana. To do this, first of all sit with both legs extended straight in front, keeping the back and waist straight. After this, place both the palms on the ground near the buttocks. Now bring the soles of both the feet together. Then while inhaling, hold the toes of the feet with your hands. after this

While inhaling, bring the heels as close to the basic area as possible. Stay in this position for 10 to 30 seconds. Then keep breathing normally.

This asana is quite easy to do, but do not put too much effort in doing it in the beginning, gradually increase the practice.

People suffering from arthritis or severe knee pain should avoid this asana. Also, pregnant women should consult a Yogacharya before doing this asana.
