New Delhi, March 2 (IANS). In today’s modern and fast-paced lifestyle, most of the people face physical and mental stress regarding their career or job.
Because of this, lack of stability and concentration is seen in most people. Regarding this, the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India has advised to make ‘Bhadrasana’ a part of your daily routine.
Yoga is not just meditation or physical exercise, but a complete lifestyle that balances mind, body and spirit. One of them, Bhadrasana, is an important yoga asana, which mainly helps in building strength and flexibility in the pelvic area, thighs and waist.
Bhadrasana is considered a type of butterfly posture. This asana is considered excellent for mental stability and concentration. The Ministry of AYUSH says that by doing Bhadrasana regularly every day, it not only makes your body flexible, but is also helpful in reducing mental stress.
Along with including Bhadrasana in your daily life, the Ministry of AYUSH has also explained about its method. According to this, to do Bhadrasana, first of all sit with both your legs extended straight in front, keeping your back and waist straight.
After this, place both the palms on the ground near the buttocks. Now bring the soles of both the feet together. Then while inhaling, hold the toes of the feet with your hands. Along with this, while inhaling, bring the heels as close to the Muladhara area as possible. Stay in this position for 10 to 30 seconds. Then keep breathing normally.
Bhadrasana is such an asana, regular practice of which gives internal strength to the body. It strengthens the muscles. Doing this mainly provides stability to the body. It helps in keeping the mind stable and thinking focused.
