New Delhi, November 11 (IANS). Cashew is a very beneficial dry fruit not only in taste but also in health. It contains many types of vitamins, minerals and healthy fats, which are essential for the body. Consuming it regularly and in right quantity is very beneficial.

Cashews are very good for heart health. It contains healthy fatty acids, which reduce bad cholesterol and strengthen the heart. Eating some cashew nuts every day keeps the heart strong. Cashew also helps in keeping blood sugar under control. The fiber and healthy fats present in it prevent the sugar level from increasing suddenly.

Cashew is also a boon for the brain. It contains magnesium, copper and antioxidants, which improve brain function. Cashews help in increasing focus in studies, work or any task. It is also beneficial for bones and teeth. Cashews contain magnesium and calcium, which keep bones strong and teeth healthy.

If we talk about immunity, the antioxidants, zinc and vitamin E present in cashew nuts increase the body’s immunity. Consuming it in winter helps in fighting cold, cough or viral.
