New Delhi, November 14 (IANS). Diabetes is a disease which gradually hollows out the body. However, there are many spices in Indian kitchen, using which this can be controlled. The name of one such spice is cinnamon.
The Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India considers cinnamon not only beneficial for diabetic patients, but its consumption provides many other benefits. Cinnamon tea is also beneficial.
The number of diabetes patients is increasing rapidly in India. In such a situation, the Ministry of AYUSH advises people to use natural and home remedies. The ministry has described cinnamon tea as very beneficial for diabetes and health. Cinnamon tea is not only delicious, but it is especially beneficial for patients. This tea helps in controlling blood sugar levels. The special elements present in cinnamon increase the efficiency of insulin, due to which the body is able to use glucose in a better way.
Drinking cinnamon tea regularly keeps the sugar level stable and reduces the problem of sudden increases and decreases. Apart from this, cinnamon tea is also helpful in balancing cholesterol. It reduces bad cholesterol. This reduces the risk of heart disease, which is common in diabetes patients. Cinnamon also has antioxidant properties, which reduce inflammation in the body and strengthen immunity.
Ayurvedacharya also explains an easy way to make cinnamon tea. For this, add half a teaspoon of cinnamon powder or a small cinnamon stick in a cup of water. Boil it for 5 to 10 minutes. After this, filter and drink it hot. You can add honey or lemon for taste.
Cinnamon naturally improves health, but it should not be considered a substitute for medicine. It is important for diabetic patients to do regular exercise, balanced diet and follow medical advice.
Patients should consume it along with the medicine, do not stop the medicine. Pregnant women and people with other serious problems should consult a doctor.
