New Delhi, 16 September (IANS). In the rain or cold weather, people often have complaints like nose closure, headache and heaviness on the face. Most people ignore it as simple colds or allergies, but this problem can actually be sinusitis. It is not only a temporary discomfort, but a disease associated with immunity and complete health of the body.
The sinus skull consists of air -filled cavities around the eyes and nose, which makes the nose clean and moist by making mucus (mucus). When these cavities are inflamed or infection, it is called sinusitis. Symptoms of this disease may vary according to the place of infection.
For example, when there is swelling in the maxillary sinus, the cheeks and upper tooth pain is felt. There is pain in the forehead when there is a problem in the frontal sinus. Athmoid sinus causes pain between the eyes, while the sfeneoid sinus causes pain in the back and neck.
Apart from this, the persistent nasal is closed, reduced odor, headache, pressure around the eyes, heaviness on the face and sometimes fever are also its main symptoms.
There can be many reasons behind the sinus. Allergies to things like dust, smoke, pollen or perfume are a major reason for this. Apart from this, nasal bone, viral, bacterial or fungal infection and weak immunity also gives rise to it. Stress and unbalanced lifestyle further increase this disease.
Many home remedies have been mentioned in Ayurveda to get relief from sinusitis. Putting two drops of mustard oil or ghee in the nose in the nose in the nose is beneficial in the nose. Taking steam by adding celery or mint to water, drinking basil and ginger decoction, taking turmeric milk and taking trikatu powder reduces the infection by reducing phlegm and mucus.
Except for fried and heavy things, taking light, nutritious and digestible diet is also considered beneficial for sinus patients.
It is necessary to adopt some precautions to avoid this disease. Protect yourself from dust, smoke and pollution. Keep the body covered according to the season and avoid cold beverages or stale food. Regularizing yoga and pranayama strengthens the respiratory system and also increases immunity.
