गुप्तांगों में खुजली को न करें नजरअंदाज, आयुर्वेद से जानें कारण और बचाव

New Delhi, 6 October (IANS). Itching in the genitals is becoming a common, but serious problem due to the use of today’s busy lifestyle, unbalanced food and highly chemical products. It can be not only inconvenience, but can also be a sign of infection and other health problems.

First of all it is important to understand that the natural pH level of the genitals is light acidic (3.8–4.5), which protects it from infection. When excessive cleaning, soap or aromatic products are used, this balance deteriorates and problems such as itching, irritation.

In addition, wearing synthetic or tight clothes stops sweating and heat, which increases the chances of fungal infections and rashes.

In some cases intestinal health is also related to the genitals. The imbalance of bacteria in the intestines increases the growth of the yeast, which can cause itching. Hormonal changes in women such as estrogen or thyroid imbalance and testosterone disturbances in men also make the skin of the genitals sensitive. Repeated itching can also be a sign of sometimes hidden diabetes, as more sugar in the body nourishes fungal infections.

In some rare cases contact allergies such as condoms (latex), detergent, sanitary pads, or clothing buttons may also cause itching. In addition, neurogenic pruritus caused by pressure on the veins or vitamin B12 deficiency also causes itching without any infection. Parasites such as threadworm or genital lice can also be a reason for this, which often spreads with sexual relations or contaminated clothes.

Neem water is very beneficial in home remedies, which have antibacterial properties. Consumption of yogurt and mild use is also useful as it contains probiotics. By drinking turmeric milk, the body fights infection from inside. Coconut oil and aloe vera gel also help to calm itching. It is necessary to wear loose cotton clothes, maintain hygiene during periods and drink enough water.

This problem can be avoided by adopting regular cleaning, use of chemical -free products, healthy diet and stress -free lifestyle. If itching remains persistent or unbearable, then consult a doctor.
