Kapalbhati- Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, described it as a ‘panacea of digestion’. Cupidation clears the lungs and muscles are active, which increases blood circulation in the intestines and improves digestive enzymes. This provides relief in problems like gas, constipation, acidity, and indigestion. Regular practice makes hunger better and toxic substances come out in the body.
Anulom-Antonym- According to the Ministry of AYUSH, the body is detox inside by doing Anulom-Antonyms (pulse purification pranayama). Also, it is effective in calming the mind and reducing anxiety and stress.
Experts say that Anulom-Antonym increases the quality of sleep and enhances concentration. It also acts as a ‘mental detox’. From 10 minutes daily, your mood will ride on the ‘positive wave’.
Bhastrika- According to the Ministry of AYUSH, this is a practice that cleanses the body deeply. It removes the toxic substances accumulated inside the body. This makes the body feel light and fresh. According to Ayurveda, there are three doshas in our body – Kaf, Pitta and Vata. If they become unbalanced, then many types of diseases start occurring. Bhastrika Pranayama helps in bringing these three defects into balance. It cures digestion, improves breath and calms the brain.
