Figs are a highly nutritious dry fruit, rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre, while milk is a complete and balanced diet, but when these two are combined, it is no less than an elixir for health. Especially, soaking figs in milk overnight and consuming them in the morning provides manifold benefits to the body.

This simple home remedy improves health from digestion to bones and skin. In Ayurveda, the combination of figs and milk is considered very effective. Taking these two together can provide relief from many diseases. Consuming figs and milk together can prove miraculous for health. Due to this, the properties of figs dissolve in milk and the body gets double benefits.
