In Ayurveda, home remedies like turmeric milk, ginger, basil, amla and giloy are considered immunity boosters. Avoid junk food and excessive fried food.

Manage stress: Constant stress weakens immunity. Meditation, pranayam, listening to music or having a hobby are good ways to reduce stress. In Ayurveda, being stress free is considered the basis of a healthy life.
Stay hydrated: Lack of water in the body affects immunity. It is especially important to drink enough water throughout the day in summer. Also drink natural drinks like lemon water, buttermilk, coconut water or herbal tea. Adequate water helps in flushing out toxins from the body and keeping the immune system strong.
