New Delhi, November 1 (IANS). Ginger is used in every household. Ginger not only makes tea and food tasty but also helps in keeping the body warm.
Ginger is considered a medicine in Ayurveda, but it cannot be estimated how beneficial ginger water is for the body. Ginger water helps in curing many diseases, especially in winter.
The taste of ginger is pungent, bitter and sometimes astringent, hence ginger should be consumed by mixing it with some things. Ginger water provides relief from problems like cough, cold, cough, constipation and joint pain, but it is also important to know the method of its consumption. In case of different problems, a mixture of different things can be taken with ginger water.
If you have digestive problems, then boil ginger in water, add rock salt and a few drops of lemon and consume it. It should be taken one hour before eating food. Ginger is beneficial in cold and cough. By consuming ginger water, even the oldest phlegm comes out easily and also provides relief from cough. For this, honey can be taken by mixing ginger in lukewarm water or a decoction can be made by mixing ginger, black pepper and basil in water. It provides relief not only in cold and cough but also in fever.
Many times it happens that even after eating less, the weight continues to increase slowly. Especially women are very worried about their increasing weight. In such a situation, one should take ginger by boiling it in water and adding lemon to it in the morning on an empty stomach. This will start reducing belly fat. If you have problem of headache or difficulty in sleeping properly, then ginger water works like a medicine for this. Ginger calms both mind and body and provides relief from headache and body ache. Consuming ginger supplies oxygen to the brain and produces the sleep-inducing hormone melatonin properly.
