According to doctors, during this period one can keep oneself safe by maintaining cleanliness, eating healthy food and following some important precautions.

According to the National Health Mission, due to increasing moisture in the air and fluctuations in temperature in the changing weather, bacteria and viruses spread rapidly. Everyone from children to the elderly need to be alert at this time. By adopting small changes, you can avoid infection and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Doctors say that by adopting these small habits, infections caused by changing weather can be avoided. If there is fever, cough or shortness of breath, contact the doctor immediately.

According to the expert, to prevent infection, first of all avoid getting wet in the rain. If it is raining then definitely use an umbrella or raincoat. Do not stay in wet clothes for too long, wear dry clothes immediately. This reduces the risk of cold, cough and viral infections. Take special care of cleanliness. Wash hands with soap after coming from outside or before eating. Keep the house and surrounding area clean. Use disinfectant to prevent bacteria from spreading.

The most important thing is to completely say no to street food and outside food at this time. Chaat, pakodas, samosas or other food items sold in the market can become a major cause of infection. Eat only fresh and hot home-cooked food. Be careful of allergies also. Dust, pollen and fungus increase in the changing seasons, which can cause itching in the eyes, sneezing and difficulty in breathing.
