New Delhi, December 12 (IANS). Be it winter or summer, everyone feels lazy to sleep till late in the morning, but both Ayurveda and modern science say that waking up before sunrise i.e. in Brahmamuhurta and taking a 20-30 minute walk is the biggest secret of health, happiness and energy for the whole day.
According to Ayurveda, Brahma Muhurta (approximately between 3:30 am and 5:30 am) is the time when the life energy in the atmosphere is highest. The mind remains calm, the mind is fresh and memory power and concentration increases. At the same time, science calls it the ‘golden period’ because at this time melatonin (sleep hormone) decreases and cortisol (energy hormone) gradually increases, due to which the body naturally becomes awake and alert.
There are many great benefits of waking up in Brahma Muhurta and taking a walk at the same time. Memory, focus and creativity increase and the mind becomes sharper. The levels of serotonin and dopamine increase, due to which the mood always remains good and positivity also remains.

Not only this, visiting Brahma Muhurta is also good for heart health. This improves blood circulation and keeps blood pressure under control. Hunger hormones remain balanced, due to which weight is easily controlled. There is a natural glow on the skin and spots and blemishes are removed.
Many researches have revealed that people who wake up early have less risk of diabetes, heart problems and depression. At this time, there is the purest level of oxygen in the air, due to which the lungs open completely and one can breathe completely. Vitamin D is available without any harm from early sunlight. Bones become strong. According to Ayurveda, Vata-Pitta doshas are balanced, joint pain and mental stress are also reduced.
Experts say that if you make a habit of waking up in Brahma Muhurta and taking a walk for 20-30 minutes in the morning, then the biological watch of the body gets completely set.
