New Delhi, 27 September (IANS). The fourth edition of ‘World Food India’ organized by the Ministry of Food and Processing Industry has started in New Delhi. The purpose of this exhibition is to promote India’s food industry and attract global investment. It was inaugurated by PM Modi on Friday.
Famous chef Kunal Kapoor also attended the exhibition of ‘World Food India 2025’. During this, he had a special conversation with IANS. Kunal Kapoor said that if healthy food is also taken in excess, it can be harmful.
Kunal Kapoor told IANS, “Whenever I come in Bharat Mandapam, I feel very proud. How fabulous and beautiful Bharat Mandapam is, its infrastructure is excellent. This year our program is very special. Different food brands, industry experts, chefs, common people and business people are present. It is said that the whole world is present here anyway.
Kunal Kapoor spoke about his biryani story. He said, “Biryani story has been very interesting. I did not make biryani in our house. I have learned it later. It is very difficult to make a large amount of biryani. It is very difficult to cook both art and science. I require both art and science. I also make a lot of mistakes while learning it. I can make it at home, but it is not easy for 250-300 people to make it.”
Along with this, he told that in today’s time people have become very cautious about food and drink, but no food is unhealthy. If healthy food is also taken in excess, it can be harmful for us. Therefore, it is very important for our life lifestyle to be restrained and balanced.
Let me tell you, more than 90 countries are participating in this event. This year partner countries include New Zealand and Saudi Arabia, while Japan, the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam and Russia are participating as concentrated countries. This international presence underlines the belief that India’s food sector is no longer limited to filling the stomach of more than one billion population but is also contributing to global food security, innovation and business.
