Hemoglobin level is not increasing even after medicine and proper diet, know the reason and the right method.

New Delhi, January 5 (IANS). Low hemoglobin level in the body is a common but fatal problem. Anemia is most common in children and pregnant women.

Doctors recommend taking iron tablets to compensate for blood deficiency, but many times the amount of hemoglobin does not increase even after taking the medicine, because the method of intake may be wrong.

There are many ways to increase hemoglobin in Ayurveda, but due to some habits, iron deficiency persists in the body and medicines and remedies also do not work, such as consuming excessive tea or coffee, having stomach related problems, consuming medicines with wrong diet, avoiding iron-rich diet, not getting enough sleep and being under stress all the time. Due to all these reasons hemoglobin is affected and the body gradually becomes weak.

Daily consumption of beetroot is helpful in increasing hemoglobin. For this, taking beetroot juice, beetroot rotis and beetroot in salad will be beneficial. Apart from this, consumption of pomegranate also helps in increasing hemoglobin, but it is important to consume pomegranate in the right way. Most people drink pomegranate in the form of juice, but eating pomegranate itself helps in increasing hemoglobin, while pomegranate juice increases the sugar in the blood.

Consumption of black sesame and jaggery helps in increasing hemoglobin. Black sesame and jaggery contain iron in abundance, and both calcium and iron are found in jaggery. You can make laddus of sesame and jaggery for consumption. Apart from this, both dates and raisins are helpful in increasing the amount of hemoglobin. They also remove fatigue and weakness. Both of these should be consumed in the morning and should be soaked at night before consumption. Soaking enhances the properties of raisins.

Now the question is what not to do. If hemoglobin is low, one should avoid tea, coffee and canned food. Apart from this, it is also important to get adequate sleep. If sleep is not complete, the cells in the body do not get time to recover themselves. In such a situation the body feels tired and weak. Keep in mind that for the absorption of iron, the amount of Vitamin C in the body should also be high. For this, definitely include sour things in the diet.
