New Delhi, September 10 (IANS). Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday inspected the Institute of Human Behavior and Affiliated Sciences (IHBAS) at Dilshad Garden, where he also interacted with the families of the patients and gave appropriate guidelines to the doctors and officials.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta accused the Aam Aadmi Party, saying, “It was deeply sorry to see that nothing has been done to upgrade the hospital in the last ten years.”
He said that since 2012, new MRI and CT scan machines have not been installed here. This negligence is a proof of the insensitivity of the previous government, which ignored the needs of the public.
Rekha Gupta said that our government will provide a new state -of -the -art building to this hospital. In this financial year, the hospital will be provided all the necessary hitech machines and modern health facilities. Now Delhiites will not neglect and wait but will get quality treatment and modern health services on time.
He said that every citizen of Delhi live a healthy, safe and respectable life, this is our resolve and with this resolution we are moving towards ‘developed Delhi, developed India’.
Rekha Gupta said, “We all know that IHBAS is a major center for solving neurological problems not only in India, but also in Asia. About 2,500–3,000 OPD cases come per day.”
After receiving complaints about the hospital, I visited it to take stock of its situation. I already knew that there is no MRI machine here since 2012. We are engaged in completing the incomplete projects of all hospitals, which will be completed soon.
He said that where there are doctors and systems, there are only 10 ventilator beds. Our priority is that we will provide all the machines required here in this financial year.
Rekha Gupta accused the previous government, saying, “The old hospitals were being made new by not correcting, which has the highest charge of corruption. The whole world has come to know. They only talk big things.”
