Indian Army becomes 'security shield' for Shiv devotees during Amarnath Yatra, providing medical assistance 24 hours

Srinagar, July 5 (IANS). Giving top priority to the safety and health of the devotees during the Amarnath Yatra, the Indian Army is providing 24-hour medical assistance. Army medical teams deployed in difficult geographical conditions and inaccessible high altitude routes are fully prepared to deal with any emergency. Timely treatment and quick relief are helping a large number of devotees to continue their journey safely.

Army doctors, paramedics and medical assistants are manning special medical aid posts on the yatra route.
