Is copper water beneficial for everyone? Know what Ayurveda says

New Delhi, March 8 (IANS). Water is such a beverage, by consuming which more than half of the diseases automatically get cured.

From Ayurveda to science, it is advised to drink 2 liters of water, however, drinking water is beneficial only when the body feels thirsty naturally. To make water healthy, consumption of copper water has been said to be beneficial for the body, but is consumption of copper water beneficial for everyone?

Tamrajal is part of the Indian tradition, but Ayurveda never imposes anything without knowing the body’s tendencies. This is because the effect of every substance depends on the nature, condition, and time of the person. Modern science also indicates that in some situations excess copper can affect the body’s balance. Copper water is hot and pungent in nature and is helpful in increasing digestion, but also increases bile in the body. Therefore, it is not necessary that copper water is beneficial for everyone.

Now the question is which people should not drink copper water. People suffering from diabetes should not drink copper water. The body tendency of these people is bile; They should also avoid copper water. Due to increase in the tendency of bile, heat increases in the body and one has to face many types of problems. Even if you are suffering from liver and kidney related problems, consuming copper water will not be beneficial.

Copper water affects the functioning of the liver and kidneys, which can also disrupt the filtering process. Apart from this, small children should also not drink copper water. It takes a lot of effort to digest copper water on an empty stomach in the morning and the digestive fire of children is not that strong. Both science and Ayurveda believe that excess copper in the body causes imbalance of sugar in the blood and also puts excessive stress on the blood vessels.
