New Delhi, May 5 (IANS). Nowadays, knee pain, stiffness in hips and weakness of lower body have become common problems. These problems increase especially with increasing age or due to less physical activity. In such a situation, the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India advises the practice of a simple exercise called ‘Knee Movement’ which is effective in eliminating these problems.
Only a few days are left for World Yoga Day. In such a situation, the Ministry of AYUSH of the Government of India is continuously making people aware about Yogasana and its benefits. In this context, the Ministry gives information about the movement of the knees and advises to practice it daily.
Experts say that regular exercise not only provides relief from pain but also improves health. This exercise is especially useful for those people who have the habit of sitting for a long time or moving less. Do it slowly in the beginning and if there is severe pain then definitely consult a doctor or yoga expert.
This exercise strengthens the joints and makes everyday life easier. Doing simple knee movement exercises increases the strength and mobility of the joints. Also, activates the muscles around the knees and hips. This increases natural lubrication in joints, increases flexibility and reduces pain and stiffness. With its regular practice, normal activities like walking, sitting, standing and climbing stairs can be done without any problem.
Practice of ‘Knee Movement’ removes weakness of joints and reduces stiffness of hips and knees. Increases stability and balance in the lower body and improves coordination by improving posture. Reduces the risk of injury or strain. Increases range of motion and provides long lasting relief.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, pain and instability in the knees are often signs of underuse or weakness of the joints. Simple exercises like ‘knee movements’ are a natural solution to these problems. This exercise can be easily done at home without any equipment. When done properly, the movement of the joints gradually increases and the body becomes stronger.
