New Delhi, October 9 (IANS). There are many complex organs in our body, which are difficult to understand but they play an important role in the body. One such organ is the lymph nodes, which are like peas in appearance but provide protection to the body in many ways. However, due to its small size, it can pose a risk of infection.
Lymph nodes are very important for the body, as they are part of the immune system. These white water-like substances released from the body work to filter the lymph fluid and separate the bacteria and harmful substances present in it. If there is any infection or harmful bacteria in the body, lymph works to eliminate them and increases the body’s immunity.
Their main function is to clean the lymph fluid. After being cleaned, the lymph fluid is sent back into the bloodstream. Overall it works like a filter. If any kind of infection still remains in the body, then there is slight swelling in the lymph and this is a sign that something is wrong in the body, but every swelling does not indicate a disease. Lymph nodes are present not only in the neck, but also in the armpits, chest, and abdomen. All these pea-like grains work to protect the body from diseases 24 hours a day.
Lymph nodes are such an important part of the body, so it is important to take care of them. For this, it would be good to consume hot water, because hot water works to remove toxins from the body and all the dirty bacteria come out. Along with this, you can also consume turmeric and ginger. It can be taken in the form of decoction. Both turmeric and ginger are rich in antibiotics, which protect the body from diseases.
Massage and compression are also good for the lymph nodes. If there is a feeling of pain or swelling in the lymph nodes, then fomentation can be done. To make a compress, heat a cotton cloth on a pan and apply it on your neck. Swelling of lymph nodes sometimes causes fever and difficulty in swallowing. Lymph nodes can also be taken care of through a balanced diet. For this, along with fruits, protein-rich food should also be consumed, which strengthens the lymph nodes.
