Magic bundle of celery will provide relief to newborn babies from the problem of cold and nasal congestion.

New Delhi, December 7 (IANS). It becomes very difficult to take care of babies during winter season. A little carelessness makes the baby sick. Due to low immunity and improper development of lungs, babies are affected by the changing weather.

In the winter season, problems like cold, cough and chest congestion occur. The baby can get relief from common cold and cough with simple remedies from nature and loving touch of the mother.

The importance of celery bundle in common cold, cough and cold has been mentioned in Ayurveda. This technique has been used since the time of grandmothers and is being taught to the next generation even today. Ajwain bundle tries to keep the baby’s body warm and protects it from the cold environment outside. So let us know how to make celery bundle and what precautions should be taken while using it. For this, take a cotton cloth which is soft and does not prick the baby at all. Make a bundle by tying 2 spoons of celery in a cloth and keep the pan on the other side to heat on low flame. Then heat the bundle slightly, take it to the baby and warm his chest.

Keep in mind that the bundle should be lukewarm, not hot. Baby’s skin is very sensitive. In such a situation, check the warmth of the bundle.

If your baby’s skin is sensitive, try treating it with the scent of celery. The gentle warmth of the bundle and its natural aroma clears the baby’s nasal passages, reduces congestion and makes breathing easier. Ajwain potli is a warming, cough-reducing and completely safe remedy.

You can also heat a bundle of celery and keep it on the pillow of your baby while he sleeps. The smell of celery will help keep the atmosphere warm. Along with this, massaging babies with olive oil daily will also provide relief. Olive oil is hot and massaging with it will keep the entire body of the baby warm.
