Make healthy and tasty vegetable chilla from wheat and gram flour, this is the method

New Delhi, November 15 (IANS). The importance of food increases even more in winter. It is very important to take care that immunity does not weaken and energy remains intact. In such a situation, to make breakfast delicious and also full of health, the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India shared a special recipe of Vegetable Chilla.

Made from wheat flour and gram flour along with fresh vegetables, this chilla is not only tasty but is also a treasure trove of nutrition. This breakfast is even more special for children. It not only gives energy but also increases immunity.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, this chilli is an excellent source of folate and magnesium. Folate supports brain development and prevents anemia, while magnesium strengthens bones and keeps muscles healthy. This recipe is easy to make and a children’s favourite. It can also be included in school tiffin. In winter, this chilla gives warmth and strength to the body.

While enumerating its benefits, information was also given about the method of making it and what ingredients would be required. To make 2 or 3 chillas, take wheat flour, 100 grams gram flour 50 grams, tomato 100 grams finely chopped, spinach 100 grams finely chopped, onion 100 grams finely chopped, green coriander 50 grams finely chopped, oil 50 ml, turmeric powder, salt as required and water as required.

The ministry also gave information about the method of preparation. For this, wash all the vegetables thoroughly and chop them finely. Mix wheat flour and gram flour in a large bowl. Add chopped vegetables and green coriander to it. Prepare a thick solution by adding turmeric powder, salt and little water. Heat a non-stick pan, apply light oil. Add a ladleful of batter and spread in a round shape. After this, sprinkle some oil on the edges and cook till it becomes golden brown on both the sides. After this serve hot. You can also include curd or green chutney with it.

Folate obtained from spinach and coriander is essential for the brain and nervous system of children. Magnesium present in wheat and gram flour strengthens bones and relieves fatigue. Vegetables improve digestion and prevent constipation.
