New Delhi, 9 September (IANS). In the race to achieve success, people often feel that the smaller sleep is as much better. While working, when it is two or three o’clock in the night, it is not known. Then the alarm is heard before sleep in the morning and the same fatigue of the day, the same irritability starts. Both science and Ayurveda believe that low sleep means to spoil health.
Sleep in Ayurveda is counted among the three major pillars of life. Just as food and restraint are necessary, ‘sleep’, that is, is very important for keeping sleep, body and mind balanced. On the other hand, science also confirms that a person needs at least 7 to 8 hours of deep sleep every day, because during this time the body repairs itself, cures the hormone balance, and collects new energy for the next morning.
Due to lack of sleep, it affects our mind and heart first. Low sleep starts to weaken the strength of thinking and understand, the brain gets tired, irritability increases, and it becomes difficult to focus on any work.
In addition, sleep deficiency promotes stress and anxiety, and gradually mental fatigue can take the form of a serious problem such as depression.
The rest of the body parts are also badly affected by this deficiency. As soon as sleep is low, blood pressure in the body starts increasing and the speed of the heart becomes unbalanced. This increases the risk of heart diseases and stroke. In addition, insulin is affected in the body, which increases the risk of type-2 diabetes manifold.
Not only this, lack of sleep also spoils your appetite. When the body is tired, it demands more energy, which makes hormones that increase hunger more active. In such a situation, he feels hungry again and again, especially sweet and fried and roasted. This increases weight rapidly and starts obese problems.
At the same time, your immunity also starts to weaken and you start falling ill again and again.
In addition, due to lack of sleep, the skin suddenly starts to look lifeless, dark circles under the eyes and premature wrinkles appear on the face.
