Jharkhand: There is news of great relief for cancer patients of Jharkhand. Now the facility of cancer treatment is going to be available in RIMS, the largest hospital of Jharkhand. Let us tell you that preparations have started soon to install PET scan machine for cancer patients in Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS).
After the completion of the tender process which has been going on for the last six months, further action in this direction has been expedited. This facility will operate on Public-Private Partnership (PPP) mode.
RIMS Director Dr. Rajkumar says that after its launch, cancer patients of Jharkhand are expected to get great relief, because till now the patients had to depend on other states or private institutions for this test.
