Prataprao Jadhav launches AYUSH grant portal under AYUSH Grid initiative

New Delhi, May 19 (IANS). Union Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge) and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav launched the ‘AYUSH Grant Portal’ on Tuesday. The portal simplifies the process of submission, processing, approval and monitoring of funding proposals under various central sector schemes.

According to an official statement, this portal has been developed by the ministry under the ‘Ayush Grid’ initiative.

Jadhav said that ‘AYUSH Grid’ is a visionary digital initiative of the Government of India, which aims to establish an integrated, transparent and citizen-centric digital ecosystem for the AYUSH sector through modern technology.

Highlighting the thinking behind this initiative, the Minister said that inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ease of Doing Business’ ‘Ease of Living’, ‘Ayush Anudan Portal’ has been developed as a comprehensive digital platform.

Jadhav said that this portal will bring revolutionary changes in the grant management system of AYUSH sector.

The ‘AYUSH Grant Portal’ facilitates organizations and institutions to submit funding proposals online through a streamlined and easy-to-use interface, eliminating dependency on manual and paper-based systems, an official said.

The platform, integrated with the ‘NGO Darpan Portal’, facilitates seamless authentication and verification of applicant organisations, thereby enhancing institutional credibility and streamlining verification processes, the statement said.

One of the key features of the portal is its ‘Scheme-wise Application Management System’, which enables proposals to be classified, processed and tracked as per the specific requirements of various Central Sector Schemes of the Ministry.

The platform also includes a ‘real-time application-tracking mechanism’, allowing applicants and officials to monitor the status of their proposals at every stage of processing.

Emphasizing the importance of this platform, Jadhav said that the primary objective of this portal is to ensure 100 percent transparency, efficiency, accountability and easy access in the grant management process.

He also said that the portal promotes the government’s vision of ‘paperless governance’ by facilitating organizations and institutions to submit their proposals completely online.

The Minister of State further said that the integration with the ‘NGO Darpan Portal’ will make the authentication and verification of applicant organizations more fast, automated, reliable and error-free.

He also emphasized that several digital platforms have already been developed under the ABDM-compliant AYUSH Grid initiative in areas such as education, research, health services, medicinal plants management, drug regulation, capacity building and global reach, thereby ensuring transparent and citizen-friendly service delivery.
