New Delhi, October 28 (IANS). Most of the stomach related problems are due to digestion or wrong eating habits, which can be easily detected, but sometimes due to shifting of navel one has to face unbearable pain. Most people do not recognize its symptoms, but some asanas can provide relief.
In Ayurveda, the navel is considered very important, which is connected to 72,000 nerves of the body. When it slips, many types of problems occur in the body. This problem can occur at any age.
This can happen due to sudden lifting of heavy weight, twisting of legs while walking, taking wrong side while sleeping (like sleeping on the stomach), weakening of abdominal muscles or due to fall or injury.
Shifting of the navel can lead to problems like flatulence, going to the washroom immediately after eating food, slight pain in the stomach all the time and pain in the waist.
In such a situation, the navel can be cured by doing yoga and some exercises. However, if there is severe pain then an Ayurvedic doctor should be consulted.
One can get relief by doing Mandukasana, Setubandhasana, Pawanmuktasana, Naukasana and Kapalbhati Pranayam and Anulom-Vilom. All these asanas are related to the stomach and help in curing digestive problems.
Apart from this, any oil can be heated and massaged around the navel. Massage with light hands, if there is severe pain even while massaging, then consult an Ayurvedic doctor immediately.
In case of problem of navel shifting, massage the soles of the feet and calves. It is believed that doing this provides relief from pain. Also, drops of lukewarm mustard oil can also be put in the navel. Triphala powder also provides relief from the pain caused by prolapse of the navel. In such a situation, take half a teaspoon of Triphala powder with lukewarm water in the morning and evening. This will provide relief from stomach pain.
