'Tadasana' is the basis of health, know the priceless benefits of its regular practice.

New Delhi, December 10 (IANS). It is very important to adopt a nutritious diet and a good lifestyle for the health of the internal and external organs of our body. While Yoga gives mental and physical health benefits to the body, a nutritious diet makes the body healthy.

One of these yogasanas is ‘Tadasana’. Doing this not only increases physical stability and balance, but also provides mental strength.

Experts say that Tadasana is a simple yoga asana, doing which helps in increasing the height. This yoga asana is very useful for children.

To do this, stand straight on the yoga mat and keep both the feet shoulder-width apart. Now interlace the fingers of your hands and turn your wrists outwards. While inhaling, raise the arms above the head in line with the shoulders. After this, raise the heels above the ground and balance on the toes. This posture should remain for 10-15 seconds.

Tadasana is considered the basis of standing asanas. According to the Ministry of AYUSH, doing Tadasana regularly strengthens the spine and improves body posture. By doing this, the muscles of the body get stretched, which increases flexibility. Tadasana also improves blood circulation and improves the digestive system, and is also helpful in reducing stress. It is also helpful in increasing self-confidence and mental concentration. Regular practice of Tadasana strengthens the muscles of the legs, back and shoulders, thereby reducing the risk of injuries.

Along with this, it calms the mind and is also helpful in reducing stress.

Doing Tadasana can provide health benefits, but if you have headache, insomnia or other serious problems, then you should avoid doing it or do it with the advice of an expert.
