The mixture of Brahmi, Shankhapushpi and Ashwagandha gives relief from overthinking and stress.

New Delhi, January 17 (IANS). In Ayurveda, the mixture of Brahmi, Ashwagandha and Shankhapushpi is considered very effective in providing relief from stress, anxiety and overthinking. Ayurvedacharya recommends consumption of this mixture in case of mental problems like stress, anxiety and overthinking.

Brahmi nourishes the brain, improves memory and concentration. Ashwagandha strengthens the body by controlling stress hormones. Shankhapushpi keeps the mind calm and induces better sleep. Together, these three improve mental health, reduce negative thoughts and maintain emotional balance. Regular consumption keeps the mind calm and provides peace in everyday life.

According to the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, the mixture of Brahmi, Shankhapushpi and Ashwagandha is very beneficial for health. These three Ayurvedic herbs prove to be especially effective in strengthening mental health. In today’s fast-paced life, overthinking, stress, anxiety and mental fatigue have become common problems. Regular consumption of this mixture can provide relief from these problems.

Brahmi is a brain tonic. It enhances memory, concentration and intelligence. The bacosides present in Brahmi protect brain cells and keep neurotransmitters balanced, thereby reducing anxiety and stress. Shankhapushpi is a herb that calms the mind. It works like a natural tranquilizer, which removes nervousness, restlessness and overthinking. It improves sleep quality and maintains emotional balance. Ashwagandha is a powerful adaptogen. It controls cortisol (stress hormone), allowing the body and mind to deal with stress better. It increases energy, reduces fatigue and improves sleep. A mixture of all three works better together.

These three are used together in many Ayurvedic formulations, such as powder or syrup. Usually taken in powder form in equal proportions (1:1:1). The mixture can be taken twice a day with lukewarm milk or water. Mixing Ashwagandha with lukewarm milk or honey is recommended, but the correct quantity and method depends on the nature of the person (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), so take it after consulting an Ayurvedic doctor.
