New Delhi, June 10 (IANS). Severe heat and heat wave continues in most parts of the country. Life is completely miserable due to the scorching sun, sultry winds and intense heat. In such a situation, health experts advise people to keep the body hydrated and suggest consumption of certain natural beverages.
This summer season is challenging, but by adopting these simple and cheap home remedies we can stay healthy and active. According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, in summer, natural and homemade beverages not only quench thirst but also protect health by keeping the electrolytes of the body balanced.
One of the most popular and effective drinks this season includes Aam Panna. This traditional drink made from raw mango is a great option to quench your thirst on sultry summer mornings. It contains abundant amounts of Vitamin C and electrolytes which provide coolness to the body and remove fatigue caused by heat.

Coconut water is said to be nature’s best electrolyte drink. It is delicious, refreshing and completely natural. Quickly replenishes the minerals released with sweat in summer and provides energy to the body.
