New Delhi, April 30 (IANS). For centuries, incurable diseases are being treated in Ayurveda with many such beneficial herbs, which are very rare.

These herbs strengthen the immunity by giving energy to the body from within. One such rare herb is Vidarikand, which is known by different names in India. This rare herb not only increases the energy of the body but also has the ability to cure even the oldest fever.

In Charak Samhita and Sushruta Samhita, Vidarikand is considered the best of herbs as it provides strength and also strengthens fertility. It is also known as Bhadrakand and Pushpamool. Vidarikand is a vine, in whose roots ginger-like nodes are found. Its lumps are dried and used as powder and sometimes its extract is also taken. It depends on the disease and method of use. Vidarikand has a cooling effect and balances the pitta and vata doshas in the body and also provides coolness from within.

Vidarikand is an excellent medicine to remove physical weakness in summer. It is used in weakness, fatigue, fever, bone diseases, weak fertility and weight gain. If you feel very tired and weak, then Vidarikand powder should be consumed with milk at night. This provides energy to the body and also strengthens the muscles. Apart from this, if the digestive power is weak and frequent gas and sour belching bother you, then Vidarikand should be consumed in the morning with sugar candy and cold milk. This calms the burning sensation in the stomach and also provides relief from acidity.

Vidarikand maintains reproductive health in both men and women. For this, taking Vidarikand with Ashwagandha and Shatavari will be beneficial. However, before using Vidarikand, please consult a doctor. People suffering from diabetes should avoid consuming Vidarikand, as it can increase the sugar level in the blood. Pregnant and lactating women should also avoid consuming it without doctor’s advice.
