Are you troubled by the problem of back pain? These easy yoga asanas will bring liberation

New Delhi, January 29 (IANS). In today’s era, most of the people work for hours on laptop or computer, due to which neck pain, cervical problems and back pain have become common. According to experts, these problems can be prevented to a great extent by adopting correct posture and doing some easy exercises.

Experts say that the best way for laptop users is to keep the screen at eye level, so that the neck avoids bending forward. In ideal posture, the back should be straight, shoulders should be relaxed and the neck should be supported. Keep the computer screen at eye level or slightly lower, so that the head does not have to move up and down. Place the keyboard in such a place that the elbows of the hands remain at an angle of about 90-100 degrees. Keeping the keyboard slightly lower on the desk or around elbow level reduces pressure on the shoulders and neck.

For laptop users, it is best to use a stand, as the laptop screen is usually at the bottom, which causes the problem of ‘tech neck’. Experts especially consider neck exercises to be very important. Doing neck range of motion exercises daily strengthens the muscles and increases the ability to work for long periods of time. These exercises include movements like slowly rotating the neck forward-backward, left-right.

Experts recommend taking a break every 30-45 minutes. Get up, take a walk and do light neck stretching. The chair should have support and feet flat on the floor. If there is more work on laptop then use external keyboard and mouse. These small changes provide relief from pain in the long run.

Regular exercise can improve the health of office workers. If the pain is severe, consult a doctor.
