Thyroid is not just a disorder of the neck gland, but it also affects the body’s metabolism, energy production and hormonal balance. When the thyroid gland is unable to produce hormones properly, the condition of hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism occurs. Today we will talk about the condition of hypothyroidism and know what is its connection with weight gain.

In hypothyroidism, the gland becomes less active and produces less hormones, which affects the body’s ability to burn calories, causing slow digestion, increased lethargy, and slow weight gain. In Ayurveda, thyroid has been linked to the imbalance of Kapha and Vata doshas. Most of the problems in thyroid are due to weight gain and it is important to control it. For this, many easy methods have been suggested in Ayurveda. To lose weight, it is important to have correct metabolism. For this, you can use Trikatu powder made from dry ginger, black pepper and pippali. Trikatu powder works to strengthen metabolism by correcting digestive fire. It can be taken daily with honey.

The second method is Guggulu Kalpa. Guggul Kalp is considered to be the easiest way to lose weight as it helps in activating the lymphatic system which helps in improving fat metabolism. The third method is Giloy and Neem juice. Giloy and Neem juice increases immunity and helps in purifying the blood.

Giloy and Neem juice helps in balancing the hormones in thyroid and increases the production of T-3 and T-4. Lemon and honey water is helpful in reducing weight. It should be consumed in the morning on an empty stomach. It activates metabolic activation, due to which energy remains in the body and there is no problem in doing daily work.
