New Delhi, March 25 (IANS). Today’s lifestyle has become such that it is very difficult to find time to eat while working. In the rush to go to office in the morning, it is difficult to have breakfast properly, and people start the day with tea and biscuits.
Breakfast is not just a means of filling the stomach but a way of nourishing the body. If there is a deficiency of nutrients right from morning breakfast, then the whole day will be spent with lethargy and heaviness.
Nowadays, due to lack of time, people start the morning with tea, biscuits, Maggi, or packed snacks. In the name of healthy breakfast, many packed products have come in the market, which promise to provide complete nutrition, but this is just an illusion. Such breakfasts fill the body with lethargy, laziness, and heaviness, but Ayurveda says that morning breakfast is like nectar for the body. It is more important to keep it light, nutritious, and digestible. Such food fulfills the body’s deficiency of energy and nutrients.
Now the question is what would be good to have for breakfast. To start the morning, you can eat porridge, poha, upma, moong dal cheela, or even idli made from lentils. These foods are light and easily digested. Both fiber and protein are found in them. In such a situation, try to eat breakfast in good quantity. You can also start your morning with breakfast with soaked almonds, fresh fruits, and curd or buttermilk. All these things will work to strengthen the body in a natural way and the body will remain full of energy throughout the day.
You can also start the morning with juice. You can do it with Amla juice, beetroot juice, carrot juice, white petha juice or even coconut milk. All these things provide coolness to the body in summer and also provide energy to the body. Keep in mind, never skip breakfast and eat lunch on time. Even if you eat light dinner, lunch should be full of fiber and protein.
