There is relief news for Indian travelers stranded in Gulf countries. Air India Express has decided to operate 43 special flights on 7 March 2026. The airline is running extra flights to evacuate passengers from Muscat, Jeddah and several cities in the UAE. This will help those people who were worried due to cancellation or rescheduling of flights for the last few days. The company has released the complete schedule for this.

The airline has arranged flights from major cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kochi to different parts of the Gulf. This mainly includes routes to Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. You can see information about your city and flight number in the table given below.

Ticket Rebooking and Refund Rules
If you had booked tickets in advance, then it is a matter of relief for you. Passengers who had booked tickets on or before March 4, 2026 and whose travel date was between February 28 to March 8, 2026, can change their dates without any extra charges. The company has also clarified that full refund can be taken for the canceled flights to the affected areas. You can get your flight rescheduled for any date within a month.

Passengers have been advised to check the status of their flight before leaving for the airport. Air India Express has provided 24-hour AI assistant “Tia” to provide assistance.
