Air quality of capital Delhi improved, AQI reduced to 267.

Delhi’s air quality improved on Wednesday and the overall air quality index (AQI) was recorded at 267 at 9 am in the city. Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) gave this information.

According to CPCB data, the AQI of the city stood at 291 on Tuesday morning which was 318 on Monday morning.

According to the CPCB, AQI between zero and 50 is classified as ‘good’, 51 to 100 as ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 as ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 as ‘poor’, 301 to 400 as ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 as ‘severe’.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius, 0.4 degrees above the season’s normal, and the relative humidity in the morning was 75 percent.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted mainly clear skies on Wednesday. The maximum temperature is likely to reach 24 degrees Celsius during the day.
