Why did the cold suddenly increase?

Western Disturbance: Due to this there has been snowfall in the higher Himalayan areas.
Cold winds: Cold winds coming from the mountains have dropped the temperature in entire North India including Delhi.
November trend: This time the month of November was also colder than normal and now the same trend continues in December also.
