Bihar Police had arrested Anant Singh late on Saturday night. Anant Singh was produced in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate in Patna. From where he has been sent to jail in judicial custody. Dularchand Yadav was murdered on 30 October. Dularchand Yadav was shot in the lower leg. At the same time, the postmortem report revealed that Dularchand Yadav died due to burst lungs and broken chest bones. When Anant Singh was brought to the court, the media asked questions, but he did not give any answer.

Now Jan Suraj Party candidate from Mokama, Piyush Priyadarshi is also likely to be arrested in this incident. Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar has said that every accused will be arrested on the basis of evidence available in connection with the murder of Dularchand Yadav. It is alleged that Anant Singh’s convoy was pelted with stones by Piyush Priyadarshi and his supporters. Only after which Dularchand Yadav who was with him died. According to Bihar DGP, there are very few eyewitnesses in the Dularchand murder case. Also, the weapon with which Dularchand was shot in the leg has also not been recovered.

Apart from Anant Singh and Piyush Priyadarshi from Mokama assembly seat of Bihar, Veena Singh, wife of former MP and Bahubali Surajbhan Singh, is also in the fray on RJD ticket. After the murder of Dularchand, Veena Devi had also complained to the police about stone pelting on her vehicle.
