Who brought how much? full count full breakup

Results in the final round (26/26):

Anant Kumar Singh (JDU) – 91,416 votes – won

Veena Devi (RJD) – 63,210 votes — defeated

Priyadarshi Piyush (Jan Suraj) – 19,365 votes

AAP, Independents, Lokhit Adhikar Party etc. – less than 2000 votes

NOTA – 4,609 votes

This result clearly shows that the contest was basically Anant Singh versus RJD, and the public gave a one-sided verdict.

1. Mokama’s grip has been entrenched for years

Anant Singh is not just a leader but an emotional face in the local politics of Mokama.
People have been calling him “Chhote Sarkar”.
On a fragmented basis, his public opinion is still strong.

2. Courts, cases, controversies – no impact on the public

Anant Singh has faced many legal cases and investigations over the years,
But it is also true that the people of Mokama do not consider him a criminal, but “their man”.

His image-

“The support of the poor, the strong man of the area, and the leader who stands together in times of crisis.”

This was decided in the elections.

3. RJD tried its best, but failed

Veena Devi’s candidature was strategic from RJD’s side,
But the result showed that RJD’s reach in Mokama is still far behind Anant Singh’s influence.

4. Jan Suraj’s influence is limited

Priyadarshi Piyush got about 19 thousand votes,
But this number remained limited to dividing the opposition votes.
The main fight could not pose any challenge to Anant Singh.

The seat has been high-profile, controversial and politically sensitive over the years.
Anant Singh becoming MLA again gives many indications –

His support base in Mokama is still unbroken

The political efforts or cases against him could not affect the public’s votes.

JDU got huge strength at the grassroots level

The bigger the difference, the bigger his political comeback is believed to be.

After this victory it is almost certain that-

Many incomplete development works in Mokama area will now start afresh.

Anant Singh will once again become a loud, aggressive and outspoken voice in the Assembly.

Political analysts believe that this victory will also affect the big equations of 2027.
