Beldanga (Murshidabad). Suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir finally did not agree and laid the foundation stone of Babri Masjid in Beldanga in Murshidabad district of West Bengal on Saturday afternoon. On this occasion, Humayun Kabir’s supporters had reached there with bricks. Humayun Kabir had announced to build a mosque with the same name in Murshidabad on the anniversary of the demolition of Babri Masjid. Politics is heated in the state on this issue. The war of words between BJP and Mamata Banerjee’s TMC is intense. BJP leader Amit Malviya has alleged that CM and TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee is using Humayun Kabir for political gains. At the same time, TMC has said that Humayun Kabir is working at the behest of BJP.

Amit Malviya has also claimed that Humayun Kabir says about the supporters who brought bricks for Babri Masjid that they are getting protection from the police. The BJP leader has described Murshidabad as very communally sensitive. He says that if the situation worsens, National Highway No. 12 will be affected. Due to this, he has warned of a big threat to the law and order and national security of West Bengal. At the same time, senior West Bengal BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has called the foundation stone laying of Babri Masjid on behalf of Humayun Kabir as vote bank politics. Dilip Ghosh said that due to West Bengal Assembly elections next year, TMC is trying to instigate communal atmosphere by using Humayun Kabir as a freelancer.

After being targeted by BJP, TMC also entered the fray in the Babri Masjid issue. Till now TMC leaders were not saying much about this. Now TMC has said that with the help of BJP and RSS, Humayun Kabir is trying to create unrest in Murshidabad. A TMC leader said that Kabir is working like an agent of BJP and wants to give provocative messages among the people. The TMC leader expressed hope that the people of Murshidabad want peace and will not support such efforts. Earlier on Thursday, Humayun Kabir had said that West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is working on the instructions of RSS.
