In the festive season, the central government has given a huge gift to the railway employees. The decision taken in the cabinet meeting today has brought a smile on the face of the railway employees. It has been decided by the government that this year, a bonus of 78 days will also be given to Group C and Group D level employees of Railways.
11.5 lakh employees will get benefit
This decision taken by the government will benefit 11.5 lakh railway employees. The cabinet has allocated a total of Rs 94,916 crore. The amount of bonus will soon go directly to the employees’ account directly. Bonus railway employees will be paid various categories such as track maintainer, loco pilot, train manager (guard), station master, supervisor, technician, technician helper, pointsman, ministerial staff and other group ‘C staff. Non -gazed employees working in railway are given bonus every year.
Bihar gets the biggest gift
The cabinet has also given a big gift to Bihar. 2192 crore rupees have been paid for Bakhtiyarpur-Rajgir-Tilaiya railway line. An amount of Rs 3822 crore has been allocated for Fourlane Road from Bettiah in Bihar to Sahebganj in Jharkhand.
