Right now the situation is completely normal for Indians and other expatriates working in Saudi. The Roads General Authority has clarified that the road network across the country is operational and there has been no impact on traffic. There has been no interruption in essential services like oil production and electricity and water. The administration has asked all citizens and expatriates to follow the instructions of the Civil Defense and stay away from any debris falling from the sky.
Earlier on March 8, two people, including an Indian and a Bangladeshi national, were killed in the debris of an attack in Al-Kharj area. After this incident, the administration is on more alert and all security measures are being taken.
What does the Saudi government say?
The Saudi Defense Ministry has described these attacks as completely hostile. Defense Ministry spokesperson said that their forces are ready to protect the country’s security and critical infrastructure. At the same time, Saudi Foreign Ministry has also issued a strict warning in this matter. The ministry said that this action of Iran is not wise. He made it clear that if tension continues to increase like this, it will have serious consequences.
