Big blast in explosives seized from Delhi NCR, 10 people died, 30 people in critical condition, Srinagar police station was the center of the accident.

The massive explosion that occurred late Thursday night at Naugam Police Station in Srinagar has now become more serious. The death toll has increased to 10, while the injured are said to be between 27–30. The great thing is that this blast did not happen in any terrorist attack, but it happened during the sample test of 2,900 kg explosive material recovered from Faridabad.

This incident happened at the same time when the investigation into Delhi’s Red Fort blast is going on across the country and layers of the terrorist module are continuously being revealed.

Location: Naugam Police Station, Srinagar
Time: 11:20 pm (November 14)

The work of collecting samples of ammonium nitrate and other chemicals seized from the Faridabad module was going on.
FSL team, police officers and a Naib Tehsildar were at the spot.
During sampling, a sudden intense chemical reaction occurred and a sharp explosion occurred.

The explosion was so powerful that—

The walls of the police station shook

Many vehicles were burnt to ashes

The glasses of nearby houses were broken

The sound was heard up to 20–30 kilometers away

Some body parts were found 100–300 meters away

According to latest hospital reports:

Deceased: 10
These include police personnel, FSL specialist and two civil officers.

Injured: 27–30
Of these, the condition of 5 is critical, many patients have been kept in Burn ICU.

Treatment continued throughout the night in LNJP, SMHS and SKIMS hospitals.

This blast is directly linked to the module that was captured in Faridabad, Haryana two days ago:

What all was found?

360 kg ammonium nitrate

2,900 kg IED making material

detonator

timer

remote

wiring

Assault Rifle (AK-Type)

83 live rounds

20 timer

walkie-talkie

Who all were arrested?

Dr. Muzammil Ahmed Ganai (Al-Falah University, Faridabad)

Dr. Adil Ahmed Rather (Pulwama)

Both are said to be members of a highly educated “white-collar” module whose links with Pakistan-based handlers are being investigated.

How is the connection made?

All these seized explosives were sent to Srinagar for investigation process.
Naugam police station remained the center of the same investigation.
The accident happened here during sample testing.

According to preliminary investigation by NIA, NSG and J&K Police—

There was no external attack

No terrorist organization took responsibility

The explosion was caused by a chemical reaction/unsafe sample handling.

But since the explosives were linked to a large inter-state terror network, the matter has become extremely sensitive.

NIA took the case into its hands

The entire building was sealed

Army and CRPF deployment increased

Central government announced compensation to the families of the deceased

High alert in Kashmir

The forensic team continued collecting samples till morning.

This accident happened at a time when

10-12 people have died in the car blast at Red Fort in Delhi.

Major recovery of explosives is taking place in NCR

Activities of terrorist networks have increased

Therefore, security arrangements have been tightened across North India since night.
