A big news has come out for industrial development in Bihar. Famous company Shyam Steel has proposed to make a huge investment of Rs 5000 crore in the state. This factory will be set up in Gaya district of Bihar. This step of the company is expected to provide direct employment to about 8000 people. The government believes that with the implementation of such big projects, the youth of Bihar will not have to wander to Arab countries or other states of India in search of work.

Government’s ‘red carpet’ and workers’ return home
Bihar’s Industries Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal has made it clear that the government is laying ‘red carpet’ for investors, that is, they will be provided all kinds of facilities. Recently, Shyam Steel Director Lalit Beriwala has submitted his proposal to the Industries Department. Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit has also assured that there will be no delay in the land and paperwork.
Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary has made a big announcement saying that Bihar government will implement ‘Preferential Procurement Policy’. This means that the companies which will set up factories in Bihar and manufacture goods will be given priority to buy their goods for government work. The main objective of the government is to stop those laborers who go to Gulf countries and do risky work. This investment is being considered as a big step towards the ‘homecoming’ of the workers of Bihar.
