There is job news for those from Bihar who want to work abroad, especially in Gulf countries. The Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department of Bihar Government is now giving special training to such people before going abroad. This training is absolutely free and its purpose is to prepare the workers for the rules and environment of the other country. For this, the government has set up centers in five major cities of the state where this class is being run every week.

In which cities and on which day will training be given?

This training program is being run in five districts of Bihar. If you live near Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Patna, Darbhanga or West Champaran, you can easily avail it. For whom is this training necessary?

This ‘Pre-Departure Orientation Training’ (PDOT) is mandatory for all those going out on ECR (Emigration Check Required) passport. It includes 18 countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Malaysia. This one-day course is provided by the government to the workers going for jobs in these countries.

For this you will have to go to pdot.mea.gov.in portal and register online. In the training, you are told about your rights to work abroad, labor law and the culture there. Besides, information about facilities like Pravasi Bharatiya Bima Yojana (PBBY) is also given.
