New Delhi. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the tentative date sheet of board exams for classes 10th and 12th classes. According to the date sheet, examinations will start from 17 February 2026. About 45 lakh students of 10th and 12th will appear in this examination. Apart from India, students from 26 other countries will also participate in this examination. The entire program of examinations is kept from 17 February to 15 July. CBSE says that the decision to release the tentative date sheet in this way has been taken keeping in mind the convenience of students and teachers.

In the program released by CBSE, information is given about the main examination of 10th and 12th board board, special examinations for class 12th sports, second board examination of class 10 and complement of 12th grade. CBSE has said that the final dates of the exam will be released near the examination. The board believes that now students will now get an opportunity to make timely plan and to schedule their schedule for preparation for studies and exams. Students will be able to preparation and practice it better. At the same time, the schools will also be able to prepare a plan to conduct the duty of teachers for the conduct of the examination, the evaluation of the copies.
The board also clarified that along with the main examinations, the process of practical examination, evaluation, checking of answer books and results can also be completed on time. The evaluation of answer books will start about 10 days after the examination of each subject and will be completed in 12 days. The last date sheet of examination will be released only after the final candidate list is submitted by various schools.
