New Delhi. India’s Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan mentioned Operation Sindoor during an event in Ranchi. He said that our army had targeted terrorists’ bases in Pakistan at night, there was a big reason behind it. The CDS said, the first air strike was carried out at terrorist bases between around 1:00 and 1:30 pm on the night of 7 May. If this strike was done between 5:30 am and 6:00 am, then many common citizens could also be damaged in Bahawalpur and Muridke.
The CDS said, this morning is the first time of the first Ajan or Namaz. In such a situation, many common citizens would also be out of their homes. This is why we chose night time for strike. CDS Chauhan further said that Operation Sindoor showed that if you have better technology and intelligence, long distance targets can be targeted even at night. He said that Operation Sindoor made the world ironed the indigenous weapons of India.
Along with this, he also spoke on nepotism. CDS said, the army is the only place where nepotism does not work. The army is not just power but an example of honesty, responsibility, and patriotism. Here a person is identified with his ability and work, not with whom he has a connection or relationship. Let us tell you that to avenge the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian entered Pakistan under Operation Sindoor and demolished the terrorist bases. More than 100 terrorists were killed in it. 14 people of Jaish chief Hafiz Saeed’s family were also killed during this period. This was confirmed by Jaish Commander Ilyas Kashmiri two days ago.
