New Delhi. Congress spokesperson Udit Raj has given an insensitive and controversial statement on the suicide of Haryana Police ASI Sandeep Lather. Congress’s Udit Raj, while talking to news agency ANI, said that if IPS Y. Puran Kumar was corrupt and tyrannical, so ASI Sandeep should have danced and sung on his suicide. Udit Raj also said about ASI Sandeep that he just wanted to make this case Dalit vs Jat.

Haryana Police ASI Sandeep Lather was posted in the cyber cell of Rohtak. He committed suicide at his maternal uncle’s house. Sandeep Lather also made serious allegations against IPS Puran Kumar in his four-page suicide note and a video. In the suicide note, Haryana Police ASI Sandeep Lather wrote that Y Puran Kumar was involved in corruption and the IPS had committed suicide due to fear of arrest. In his suicide note, Sandeep had also described Shatrujit Kapoor, who held the post of DGP of Haryana Police, as honest and fearless. In his video, ASI Sandeep Lather accused IPS Puran Kumar as well as his IAS wife Amreet of corruption.

In this video made taking the name of Bhagat Singh, Sandeep has also described Narendra Bijarnia, who was removed from the post of SP of Rohtak, as a good officer. Sandeep has said that the IPS raised the issue of caste after his name appeared in the corruption case and committed suicide by writing lies in the suicide note. According to Sandeep, Puran Kumar also used to threaten that his wife is an IAS and his family members are in the SC-ST Commission.
