Delhi blast: CCTV footage reveals, Dr. Omar did recce at many places before reaching Red Fort

Delhi Police has CCTV footage from around 50 locations, which shows that Delhi blasts accused Dr Omar had traveled to several areas of Delhi before reaching near the Red Fort complex on November 10.

Police sources have given this information. According to mapping done by Delhi Police, the blast accused had passed through several areas of Delhi before 3 pm. Dr. Umar was captured in CCTV camera on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

According to sources, he was first seen at several places in the south-eastern district while coming to Delhi from Faridabad. He had entered Delhi through Badarpur border. From the South-East District he went to the East District, then reached the Ring Road of the Central District.

From there he went to the Northern District, then to Ashok Vihar in the North-West District, where he had food. From there he returned to the Central District, where he visited a mosque, and reached the Red Fort parking lot in the North District at 3:19 pm.

According to sources, after escaping from Faridabad, accused Dr. Umar had reached Firozpur Jhirka via Mewat and then was returning to Delhi via Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

He stopped at a bus stop on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and spent the night at a dhaba. He slept in the car that night.

Earlier today, a joint team of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and Delhi Police recovered a body part at New Lajpat Rai Market near the site of the blast in the national capital that claimed 12 lives.

The body part was taken for forensic examination to aid the ongoing investigation.

Sources said that the security agencies have also recovered the diaries of Delhi blasts accused Dr. Omar and Dr. Muzammil, which contain dates from November 8 to 12, which indicate that such an incident was being planned during that time.

According to sources, the diary also contained names of around 25 persons, most of whom were residents of Jammu and Kashmir and Faridabad. According to the information received from the diaries, it can be said that this explosion was to be carried out as part of a well-planned conspiracy.
