The speed of trains crossing Yamuna river in Delhi is now going to increase. Preparations have been completed to get the green signal for the operation of the new railway bridge built right next to the historic and old Loha Bridge (Old Yamuna Bridge). The bridge has been found safe after a thorough inspection by the Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS), paving the way for its inauguration. This important rail link will be opened for traffic as soon as the final permission is received from the Railway Board.
