Delhi: Now women’s hostels will be built in every district, announcement for working women and girl students in the budget

India's largest airline Indigol's fast is increasing in UAE and Europe.

A big good news has emerged for the women and girl students coming for education and employment in the country’s capital Delhi. In the Union Budget, the government has taken an important initiative to address the housing problem for working women and girl students in Delhi. Often the biggest challenge faced by women coming to Delhi from other states is to find a safe and affordable house, but now with the new scheme of the government, this path is going to become easier.

New hostels will be built in every district of Delhi, government’s big focus on the safety and convenience of girl students and working women.

According to the announcement made in the budget, now special hostels will be built for working women and girl students in every district of Delhi. The main objective of this step is to provide safe accommodation to women near their workplace or college. In a metropolis like Delhi, where every district has its own demographics and needs, having hostel facilities in every district will also help women get rid of the problem of traveling long distances (computing). This will not only save their time, but they will also be able to focus on their career and studies while staying in a safe environment.

You will get freedom from the arbitrary and expensive rent of private PG operators, the burden on your pocket will be less.

At present, most of the girl students and working women living in Delhi are dependent on private PG (paying guest) or rented rooms. Private PG operators often charge arbitrary fares, and many times adequate arrangements are not made in the name of security. Apart from this, additional money is also taken from them in the name of electricity bill and other charges. By becoming a government hostel, women will get freedom from the arbitrariness of private PG. These new hostels will be available at affordable rates, which will provide great financial relief to middle class families and low income working women.

An important step towards making women self-reliant with safe environment and better facilities

Strict security arrangements will be made in these hostels built by the government, which is the biggest concern of the parents. Availability of safe housing will also boost female workforce participation. Many times, families shy away from sending their daughters to Delhi due to lack of a safe place, but this fear will end with the availability of government hostels in every district. This initiative will prove to be a milestone in making women self-reliant and encouraging them to make their place in the country’s capital. This is being considered a practical and necessary step towards women empowerment.
